48 faithful members, all old friends, assembled at the 2019 annual awards lunch at the British Motor Museum on Saturday 16th March. This was most recent (and possibly the last) of the Sports Racing & GT club and the first of the club newly formed by its merger with Bernie’s V8s to create the new Bernie’s Sports Racing & V8s.
Ringleaders Cheng Lim and Andy Lambert, above right, led from the front while club webmaster Marcus Bicknell took photos of the drivers and their car details for the website. Among the trophies was the overall 2018 champion Cheng Lim, Driver of the Season to Chris Livesey for his exploits at the birkett 6 hour Relay Race and Mark Bowd, Spirit of the Series award. We were delighted to have as our guest Nicky Emmerson, the immovable force behind the 750 Motor Club which runs our series; the 750MC was warmly thanked by Andy Lambert on behalf of us all for their efforts in making our series run so smoothly.We have two Facebook pages, one for the fans run by Bernie Chodosh‘s family and one for the club run by Andy and Marcus.
